I had a phone interview for a Sr. Training Specialist position in the Accredo division. The first issue occurred when the talent acquisition employee emailed me to set up a time to talk they specifically asked me to reply to the email, but the email was sent from an @donotreply address and they didn’t include their actual email address in their signature. It took some the sleuthing just to get past that point.
The phone interview started with Raj, the talent acquisition staffer, saying, “now who am I talking to and what did you apply for?” After reading me the job description verbatim from the posting Raj repeatedly asked me if I had any questions. When I asked about the details of the position she was unable to provide any information beyond the job description. She asked me no questions about my background or experience except clarifying my dates of employment on my resume. When I asked about travel she contradicted the job description. All in all this experience left me feeling that if their talent acquisition department is this disorganized I probably don’t want to work for this company.
I didn’t hear back about next steps, even though I was assured that I would hear something either way. In their applicant portal I am still listed as “under consideration” even though this interview took place in early November and it is now late January.
