Interview
Two interviews before getting the job offer. First one was with direct manager. Then I was asked to complete a practice writing assignment to see if I would be a good fit for the department's need. Second interview was conducted in a panel-style with the entire 12-man department taking turns asking me questions. Sounds intimidating, but it was actually pretty relaxed and informal.

Congressional hearings are less intense! Interviewed by phone or in-person with eight people for a non-managerial position. Questions were not well-thought out. All but one interviewer were not well prepared.
