The recruiter I worked with was great. She was very efficient and on the ball. However, this process was beyond RUSHED. Within a week, I had 3 phone calls with 3 different people and a job offer. They wanted an answer within 24 hours. It was very rushed. There was no video or in person interview, it was all done by phone. While I appreciated the efficiency, I learned a lot from this process. It is more important for it to be done slowly and ensure a fit on both sides.
Also, from the time I accepted the interview until I started (about 3 weeks later), one of the 3 people I spoke to had left the company, another had moved into a different role, and another had nothing to do with the role I was hired for. I inherited a new manager, who I had never spoken with. Since the people I spoke with were not involved in my day to day as an employee, everything I was told during the interview process was not the case. It was not a good experience.
As I said the recruiter was great, efficient, helpful and on the ball. After accepting I was paired with an "onboarding" person to assist with getting everything done before starting. This person was not helpful and acted annoyed when asked questions. That should have been my first sign.
This was a terrible experience, but I learned a lot of lessons from it. If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. Maitland Florida is a hell hole.
