I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at ELending Group (Chesterfield, MO) in Jun 2016
Interview
I received a phone call from an individual who announced himself as someone working for ELending and wanted to speak with me briefly regarding the position. After speaking with individual, I was asked to come in for a brief interview and to meet the team. I interviewed, in-person, with the individual who supposedly worked for ELending and who I talked on the phone with. The interview was very strange because the individual interviewing me had the radio on while he was talking. The radio, coupled with the individual speaking very quietly, made it hard for me to understand exactly what he was saying most of the time. After speaking with this individual, I spoke with the individual's son and the operations manager. Then I was given an offer letter for the position. This was by far the strangest interview that I have ever been a part of.
The hiring process stated above is incorrect . The normally hiring process takes 10-15 days. The protocol is as follows: Obtain resumes from prospective candidates. Next a phone interview is conducted followed up with a in office interview with all members of management. If candidate is selected they are then instructed to fill out an employment package and a background check is initiated using a third party vendor. This normally takes 5- 7 business days . Afterward an offer letter is generated and sent to the candidate for his or hers signature and is required to be returned. Then a start date is established
