I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Domino's (Traverse City, MI) in Mar 2010
Interview
Domino's is looking for people that "have it together". They want someone that is reliable, and won't flake out on them. If you have tattoos and piercings, you might want to cover/conceal them. This isn't a deal-breaker, but if you're dressed like you're there for an interview (not a pizza), you're more likely to get the job. No need for a shirt and tie, but put on a clean shirt and pay attention to your hygiene. Most of this stuff should seem basic. Beyond this, they want a clean driving record (not spotless, but be honest - they have to verify with the DMV). You'll likely be driving your own vehicle, so they'll probably want to know if you have reliable transportation.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
(Not a surprise, but harder than you think) How well do you know the area?
submit your resume, cover letter, and sometimes additional documents (portfolio, references, etc.).
Initial Screening: The hiring team reviews applications to assess your qualifications and fit for the role. If selected, you’ll be contacted for further steps.
Easy and laid back. Welcoming and friendly. I felt prepared and they did not care about my attire. I hope this helps you in your interview process. Good luck to everyone reading this. You got it
Interview was fairly easy. This is a job that will take people with little to no experience so the interview is to make sure you are ok with the many tasks that working at a busy pizza place requires and whether you will fit in with the culture.
