District Ice Cream interview questions

Bit of a bizarre interview, employer asked questions that were a bit strange. Ultimately decided not to accept job due to the off-vibes I felt during the interview process. Employer also requested I purchase brand new chef shoes and a new chef jacket (instead of using the ones I already own) for the first training shift, which seemed like a bit too much money to spend on a job that I wasn’t even sure about in the first place.
