I completed the first two steps in the interview process, an HR screen and an interview with a hiring manager. For the HR screen I spoke with Camila, she was warm, welcoming and made the interview feel natural. She proactively provided most of the information I was looking for by explaining the interview process and the success factors for the role. She mentioned that outbound prospecting is a key element of the position and explained that they have a strong team made up of personable go-getter types. The hiring manager I spoke with was Will. I very much appreciated Will's conversational approach to the interview. He asked thoughtful and personalized questions that truly helped assess whether Deel would be a strong fit for me. He was forthcoming about the key expectations and challenges of the role while giving me room to share my thoughts. Some of what he shared is that there is a substantial learning curve as Deel has several products to support Mid-Market companies. There is a mix of shorter and longer sales cycles. The two people I met were friendly and honest. I left each interview excited about Deel but received and accepted an offer with another company partway through.
