    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Debenhams.

    Interview

Had a phone interview which lasted around 15 minutes; I was asked about my availability and then why I wanted to work for Debenhams, what do I imagine the role involves, do I work well in a team, as well as some situational questions e.g. what would I do if a customer asked for something not in my department etc. Got through and was scheduled in for a 'meet and greet' to see if I was a fit for the store itself (Oxford Street). This was filling out forms and sorting out hours and availability, was then taken for a one-on-one interview in which I was asked why I wanted to work for Debenhams and why I would be good for the role. Told me they would be in touch soon and I got an official offer two weeks later.

First is an online questionnaire, which tests your personality traits.
Then a phone interview of around 10 minutes by HR, followed by a video chat interview of around 30 minutes by the store (presumably due to COVID).
