Interview
The interview process is not unique, but it was poorly organized, not the most professional presentation and not considerate of candidate experience. Roles are posted well before the company was ready to hire and response time is unreasonable for active job seekers.

Question 1
What was your favorite project that you've worked on?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at D Magazine Partners (Dallas, TX) in Feb 2024
Interview
First step was your average screening call. Second step was a virtual interview with the hiring manager. Interview went really well and I felt well qualified for the role. At the end of the interview, the hiring manager wanted to set up a call with their marketing team and let me know I would hear back soon. A few weeks go by and I don’t hear anything so I sent a polite follow up email in which the event producer said they were moving slowly and that it might be a little while longer. I wait a few more weeks so I don’t come across as impatient and after over a month of waiting, the event producer sends me a generic email saying that they went with someone else even after they said they wanted to set up a call with the marketing team. It was disrespectful and unprofessional how they handled the whole process.
