Interview
The technical interview went smoothly. As for the final interview with the company owner—it felt more like an interrogation than an interview. There were a lot of questions about my personal life and immigration status, which was a bit odd for the U.S., especially since I had no issues with my status or any specific requirements for the company in that regard. Then he tried to make the previously agreed-upon terms as unfavorable as possible, which was strange—it was the first time I’d encountered something like that at a software company. In short, my first impression of the company after a technical interview was completely ruined by such a unworthy approach.

Interview
I had a second-round interview with the CEO that left me deeply uncomfortable. The questions asked were not related to the role but focused instead on my immigration status, why I moved to the U.S., where I currently live, and personal matters like my marital status. The experience felt more like an interrogation than a job interview. As someone legally working and living in the U.S., I found this discriminatory and inappropriate. I do not recommend proceeding with the interview process here.

The worst case when company schedule the time for interview, you are planning your day and instead of walk with your child, you are waiting for call, but nobody call you. Thank you for such experience. I don't want to work in such company.
