The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Chewy (New York, NY) in Feb 2017
Interview
Spoke with a recruiter on multiple occasions. Nothing more than getting to know each other. Interviewed with a building GM and then got an email to fly out for an on site interview. I responded that I was available for the interview and cleared my schedule- then never heard from anyone ever again. Very unprofessional throughout the entire process. Can't see this as a company that is very well managed.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Chewy (Dania Beach, FL) in Nov 2022
Interview
Loop style, 6 one hour interviews with 6 different people. Each person is assigned 2 of the operating principles and assess from your answers if you are a good fit for the company.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They were all - Tell me about a time when XYZ, what was the situation, how did you handle it, and what was the outcome. Each question needed to be backed by hard data numbers vs. story telling.
Ridiculous waste of time, interview was 5 hours long all back to back with a rude site director who believed he was God. The HR manager was nice the rest of the team was not at all who I would want to work for! Did me a service to rid myself from this dumpster fire!!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Behavioral questions structured mostly around the chewy principles which really is a rip off from Toyota
I applied online. I interviewed at Chewy (Reading, PA)
Interview
100% identical to Amazon. Initial screen by a recruiter and if you pass that then they set you up with a pod interview. These used to be onsite but now everything is done through video conference. I spoke to the Site Leader, HR Manager and then the GM. These were done one right after the other.

Question 1
Lots of questions about mistakes you've made and things you could have done better. But all of them asked the exact same questions.
