It was a very laidback and casual interview, nothing super intimidating or formal. The interviewer was very to the point and friendly, but honestly I think the more important than the interview is doing well during your trial.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Chef on Call (Montreal, QC) in Feb 2016
Interview
Just a basic interview, they were pretty desperate for staff. They hired me right on the spot and started my 3 hour (unpaid) training right then and there. The owner interviews you and he seems nice and first but he's a horrible employer. He will tell you that they aren't cheap and that you'll get a raise after a couple months but that never happens and when it does happen it's only a 5-10 cent raise.
