Interview
Very strange interview process and company. I read the reviews beforehand and thought maybe my experience would be different, but unfortunately, it’s just as bad as everyone says. I had 3 interviews. The first was the recruiter, very generic questions with the ridiculous domino’s pizza question. The second interview was really good. I liked the person I spoke to and she genuinely seemed to want to get to know me. The third interview was when things went off the rails. It started with one person and then about 5 minutes in, another person popped into the zoom room. The second person did not ask any questions or say anything. Both of them typed the entire time and never made any eye contact. All the questions were about how I would sell Charlie health. I found it all very sleazy that they are only concerned with making a profit off teenagers mental health problems. I was even told I would need to continue contacting a parent until their child signed up for the program. They are only concerned with their bottom line and making money off these kids that really need help. I can only imagine how awful of a work environment this must be. I withdrew my application after the interview.

Application
I applied online. I interviewed at Charlie Health (Houston, TX) in Feb 2026
Interview
Initial call with a recruiter, Victor went very well, from there I completed a behavioral analysis, then interviewed with a lead admissions rep. From there she gave a glowing review and I was asked for references. The recruiter then calls me to give a verbal offer, I accept and he stated he would pass it to HR for approval. A few hours later I am called backed and offered $2k less than what was originally communicated. I accepted and he said he would send it to HR for approval. A week later he calls back and tells me they decided to go with different candidates. This is following several rounds of requesting me to change information on my LinkedIn, remove my open to work banner, and a VERBAL OFFER. I am disgusted by the lack of professionalism and ethics. What kind of mental health company treats candidates this way?

Question 1
Describe a time when you had to provide a solution.
Interview process was pretty smooth. They provided a lot of great information. Went over salary as well. My interviewer was super friendly. I would do the interview all over again!
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Charlie Health (New York, NY)
Interview
Had a great initial meeting with their recruiter, got through all the rounds. I didn’t do my best and hit a wall with my final interview. My big problem was that they just ghosted me and only let me know I didn’t get the job after I emailed twice asking. When I then asked what I could do better in the future or for feedback I still got none… then another week after that I got a request to review their process.
