I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CORT (Atlanta, GA) in Mar 2022
Interview
The interview process was very straight forward and the hiring manager let me know right away how many steps there were. For the remote position to which I applied, there was 1 phone screen, 1 phone interview with the HM, 1 virtual interview with the HM's team, and 1 virtual interview with the 2 VPs of HR. I was pretty nervous about each step but everyone who participated was warm and conversational. I did not feel like I was being made to jump through hoops or answer questions unrelated to the job. I received updates every 1-2 days and every communication I made to the HM was acknowledged and I never felt like I was a bother. She kept me informed and even gave me feedback from each round of interviews when I asked. I was very choosey this time around in my job search and did not cast a wide net. I only applied to jobs that met my needs and CORT did not disappoint. There were other "great" companies that asked my availability for phone screens which I gave, but then I never heard back. I had been ghosted. Not at CORT. I felt valued and respected. They did not waste my time and I did not waste theirs. That alone was enough for me to know I wanted to work for this company.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
This question came from my interview with 2 VPs of HR:
How has the pandemic changed your view of yourself? Are you the same person now that you were before?
