Not too bad. Start off with a pre-recorded interview, and you have the option to have 1 redo for each question. If you go onto the next round, the hiring manager asks more about your experience (while the video was more about your knowledge of news).
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
- Why CNN?
- Name 3 Supreme Court Justices
- Pitch to us 3 news stories.
it was a Hirevue, they asked typical interview questions like introduce yourself, what challenges have you faced, what's your news diet, etc. took only around 15 minutes to complete but I would do significant preparation.
Very thorough and detailed. There were three rounds of interview, and one of them was online. Then it came to in person interview. I struggled with the online because you have to record yourself and answer their questions with time limits.
I was instructed to undergo a virtual interview on Hireview. I have not heard back yet, but they asked basic questions like "tell us about yourself" and "why are you interested in this internship?"
