Phone screen followed by multiple on-site interviews. Went weeks without getting an answer, only to find out I had not gotten that role but there was another they wanted me for. Went to multiple on-site interviews for that one, once again everyone talked to me as if I had the role (including the hiring manager), then I didn't hear anything for two weeks despite my inquiries. Finally gave up. I believe they did not hire me due to a previous personal bankruptcy, despite the fact that this is not a finance-related role. Beginning to end this process lasted for several months and required multiple days off of work, since the only times they were willing to schedule interviews seemed to be in the middle of the day. Waste of my time and energy, and the worst interview experience of my professional career. On the bright side, I'd say I dodged a bullet with that one.
