I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Borderless (UK) (London, England) in Sep 2023
Interview
Job description stated they "Prefer in-person work: our whole team generally operates in-person (we’re based at the Hoxton WeWork). We’re flexible on periodic remote days when needed. We’re a small but diverse team, with 6 different nationalities represented!" After going through the screening for 30 minutes, they told me they wanted to hire software engineers who work in office 5 days a week and would not take my application further because I live an hour away. I mean... Hoxton isn't even in central London. I was then told "Yeah... we don't work remotely, it's in the job description ". Tell me about being passive aggressive and having multiple personalities. Don't waste your time.

Question 1
What makes you great as a software engineer? How do you take ownership of the products you build?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Borderless (UK) (London, England) in Aug 2023
Interview
After going through a pre-recorded introductory video and 3 tests spanning English proficiency, personality and work ethic, it was finally time for me to meet with the CEO, only for him to tell me that although my test scores were perfect and they wasted two weeks of my life on a series of interviews, he wouldn't be proceeding with my application because my strengths in large marketing engagements were not suitable for his smaller clients. Tell me you're incompetent and dipped on my resume without telling me you're incompetent.

Question 1
Questions about the account management space I already had, but prior to this it would be a series of tests.
