I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Blackbaud (Austin, TX) in Feb 2018
Interview
1st Interview was a video interview via webcam, and was general interview questions. 2nd Interview was about a few days later, and was a personality test along with a logic and "fake office" activity that had little to nothing to do with the actual job position. This is where your references come in, which they need a total of 5. 3rd interview was another week later on site. After this came another half a month (!!!) of waiting for an answer, only to be told I was not going to be hired. Kept in contact with the recruiter, and asked several times about my references and if they needed the emails, or if a phone number was okay. Recruiter said they didn't know that answer and would get back to me about it. That never happened, and I got the email about them moving on to other candidates a few weeks later. Overall a negative experience that left a bad taste in my mouth about the company's hiring process. My advice to you would be to keep looking for other jobs during the time you spend trying to get one at BB and do not commit, they do a very good job at making you feel like you got the position, only to pull the rug out from under you at the very last moment. I had asked for status updates and about my references several times to my recruiter, only for those to be pretty much ignored. Radio silence will happen without any sense of whats going on, so it's best to keep your doors open in the meantime.

Question 1
There is a lamp that won't turn on. What are the steps you would take to fix it?
I had an automated interview, with recorded answers. This was followed by a phone interview - it seemed sort of thrown together as the interviewer wasnt prepared. Then a emailed activity. Follow-up was promised but never came.

I applied online. I interviewed at Blackbaud (Charlotte, NC) in Sep 2022
Interview
Went through the online vetting process first, answering video recorded questions. There were about 10 questions, with about 3 minutes each to answer, and some example questions were given beforehand. Felt I was able to prepare well for them ahead of time.

Question 1
What are aspects of your current role that would translate to this new role?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Blackbaud (Toronto, ON) in May 2021
Interview
Initial phone interview was quick and easy. Then I was called back for a 2nd 90 min interview it was challenging but not hard. As long as you were honest about your experience it just takes time and thought. When they ask for examples be specific. Then afterwards they asked for an example of how to handle a tech support question and to draft a sample email response. There was also a typing test.
