I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Best Buy
Interview
3 Stage interview process. First day you get interviewed with the supervisor, next the manager, then the General manager. Supervisor tries to gauge how much experience you have in the department you are applying for (Computers, Televisions, Appliances, etc.) Manager asks weird scenario questions like describe a situation where thing didn't go the way you planned and how did you go about it. The General Manager asked logistical questions such as what hours can you work, which days, how much are you expecting to get pay.

Question 1
Last question they ask is what would you do if you catch a co worker stealing (anything from a tablet to a bag of chips)
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Best Buy in Apr 2010
Interview
I went through a phone interview, as well as an interview with the PCHO manager, the site to store manager, and finally the general manager. They asked what was my greatest achievement and what I would do if an associate stole something small, as well as some other questions I can't remember. They also asked why do I want to work for Best Buy. They all asked about the same thing.
If you do end up wanting to work for Best Buy and it's not the holiday season, be prepared to wait to work after you take your final interview and drug test. I did both approximately three weeks ago with no response yet. From what I am told they don't call back until the day before orientation.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Best Buy (West Jordan, UT) in Dec 2015
Interview
General questions they like to have answers in SAR format. One on one interview then if you pass you have an interview with the GM as well. They were nice not redundant at all.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Best Buy
Interview
Had 2 interviews one with the supervisor for PCHO and one with the General manager. Both interviews centered around what hard work looks like and on how you connect with people to overcome sales objections. Pretty clear objectives in their interview. They are looking for people who can connect and sell.
