I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Barclays in Jul 2009
Interview
Got contacted by a recruiter for a Risk Analyst position in NY office. Went through a phone screening with the recruiter, then later with Barclays VP and Sr. Mgr.. Got invited to the NY office for a day. There're SAS test and math test sort of like GMAT math portion (be ware though, calculation is tedious and no calculator allowed). If you pass the morning test session, you'll proceed to afternoon session which consists of three 1:1 interview, including both behavioral and case.

Sometimes a case-study or presentation. Round-with behavioural questions probing risk-framework, your experience, how you solve problems. Senior managers involved late. ~4-5 rounds; lasts a few weeks
