The interviews were a long drawn out process, meeting multiple different members all with different agendas that didn't feel relevant to the role or my experience. The feedback was not useful
The audit associate interview process typically begins with a short recruiter phone screen to review your resume, graduation timeline, and foundational communication skills.Next, you will move to a first-round interview, which is usually a structured video call or on-campus meeting. This stage focuses heavily on behavioral questions designed to evaluate your problem-solving abilities, teamwork experience, and time management. After passing the initial rounds, you will face a technical assessment or second-round interview. During this phase, hiring managers test your core accounting knowledge, understanding of audit procedures, and proficiency with Excel data manipulation.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Audible (Seattle, WA) in May 2026
Interview
Went through a full 5-round interview loop. Strong performance across most rounds. Was then rejected — apparently due to lack of BSc degree (on my LinkedIn and in my CV I claim "postgraduate (in Europe this is how degrees called what you can get after high school) degree in web development" and they misinterpreted this sentence in the beginning thinking it is a BSc), despite the job posting explicitly stating 'or equivalent'. Recruiter suddenly ghosted me after I clarified my educational background via BG check. No response for 7+ business days on an open conversation she initiated. If you don't have a university degree — don't waste your time regardless of what the job posting says. The 'or equivalent' clause appears to have zero practical application

3 rounds. 1st is HR round. Then superday with 2 back to back rounds. 1st round is 1 hr and 2nd round is 45 mins. Both of them are based on behavioral and technical questions.
