Applied on company site last year. I received an online behavioural questionnaire/screening via email that was 90minutes long. Once passed received a virtual call with hiring managers for 30-45minutes. Then after that, an in person interview with one of the hiring managers and GM of the area.
- Interpersonal, Technical, and Behavioural/Situations questions. Mainly trying to gauge how'd you handle under pressure/difficult situations as you will learn most things on the job.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ArcelorMittal Dofasco (Hamilton, ON) in Jan 2023
The interview process was very unorthodox and unprofessional. I wasn't contacted by any recruiter. Instead, I was messaged on LinkedIn by a technical manager. We then set up a time for a phone screen interview. The manager did not call me at the scheduled time. He messaged me later and apologized and said he could not attend the call because of a production issue. The call was then postponed to a later time that day. The phone screen itself went ok. I was told I would soon receive an invitation for an in-depth interview. However, after the phone screen, I was ghosted for 4 weeks. Finally, I was notified by the manager on LinkedIn that a hiring freeze had been put in place.

I applied online. The process took 7 months. I interviewed at ArcelorMittal Dofasco (Hamilton, ON) in Mar 2022
Application I applied online in Sept 2021. I have been interviewed in March. Still, I did not get any kind of response. I was ghosted. The process was super slow. The big company, but lower (no) values Interview experience The interview was moderate, but the interviewer had no knowledge that international students are not allowed to work full-time during their studies and working part-time was negative for him. Another thing, I thought, it is an international company so it should be diverse culturally. But it is the opposite of that. It can be seen easily in their videos - no color. They hire mostly relatives of the employees who have been working there ( in their videos, and employees' reviews on glassdoor). How a company can progress??!!!! Where is the opportunity for new people? Canada is a diverse country but not Dofasco.
- 1. Tell me about yourself.
