I put in a resume for this position on Wednesday. By Thursday I heard from an admin that she "pulled my resume" and wanted to talk to me. I assumed it was to talk on the phone, but she called back with less than 24 hrs notice wanted me to meet with 4 managers.
I had zero time to prepare and could tell it was a bad risky fit. Company looked like it was in an abandoned warehouse with building supplies leaned against the walls and empty, unfinished cubes. No sign out in front. Everyone I was supposed to see was still in a meeting, so instead I met with a gentleman who said the position was actually one he was leaving for "a much better opportunity with another company ". Yikes. Even though I had experience with QA, QI and QC, he asked very open ended impossible questions, and clearly didn't like any of the examples I gave him. I got the feeling pretty quickly that no one was going to be as good as he thought he was.
He asked me to fill out a document about how I would deal with a deviation, left me for 10 minutes, and then without reading it told me "they'd let me know...and how's that?"
I was glad to leave. Clearly this was not a good fit. But they might think twice about exposing new candidates to emails with poor English and people with no future interest in the company.
