I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Appian (London, England) in Nov 2019
Interview
Phone call with a very friendly first point of contact. The call was informal and informative, resulting in an invitation to a 'Super Day'. This day was basically four, 20min interviews over thr course of a few hours, with other applicants to chat with between.
We were assured it was non-competitive, so not competing with the other people, which really helped the atmosphere.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner were given to us at the day, all of which were excellent, and all of the people were really friendly.
The interviews were very standard, 1 on 1, and low-pressure.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Talking about something on your CV, how you'd manage situations etc.
The interview process comprises four stages: an online assessment, two technical interview rounds, and a final HR interview. The online assessment includes two programming questions along with basic computer science fundamentals. The first technical round focuses on coding problems, while the second technical round consists of scenario-based questions. The final HR round evaluates cultural fit and overall suitability for the role.
Online assessment, then two technical interview and then final HR. They expected webdev projects and in depth knowlwgde in sql and one programmig lanuage. The questions were easy and CSE & IT students were given preference.
All behavioral, really focusing on past experiences and why Appian. 2 rounds of interviews and then power day. The first round was all tell me about a time ... type questions and fairly random questions. Next round was more behavioral questions and most in depth with your resume. Next step is power day
