The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Apollo.io in Dec 2024
Interview
1. Initial chat with HR
2. System Design
3. People and Project Management
4. Product Thinking
6. Practical Coding
7. Behavioural Round I (Hiring Manager Screen)
8. Behavioural Round II (Hiring Manager Screen - 2)
9. Reference Checks
After waiting for 3 weeks to receive feedback, I was glad to get positive response and then we proceeded with the reference checks. However, shortly after completing reference checks, I was informed that they already had candidate whose salary discussion is already scheduled. One thing i did not understand is why they even started reference check when they had candidate in the pipeline already. Entire process took almost more than 2 months out of which first month was in interview process which was quite faster but next month was only wasted in getting final feedback and doing reference checks.
I’d suggest maintaining more transparent communication to avoid misunderstandings and ensure that the company’s reputation isn’t affected by delays or unclear decisions.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Apollo.io in Jan 2026
Interview
The process was thorough, transparent, and very well organized. I had an initial recruiter screen, followed by a hiring manager conversation. From there, I completed a hands-on technical session, and two leadership interviews focused on people management, decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration.
Every interviewer was prepared and deeply engaged. The technical session felt practical and relevant to real infrastructure challenges, and the behavioral rounds focused on how I build teams, coach senior engineers, and drive reliability at scale. The process moved quickly (about 2–3 weeks), communication was consistent, and expectations were clear throughout.
