How can such a simple interview process be so poorly executed?
Interviewing at Apollo was a wreck. I interviewed through final rounds
If you're going to send me written descriptions of what the interviews will be about then stick to the written plan that you gave me. Don't deviate from the expectations that you set in writing with the candidate.
Out of the 6 rounds of interviewing that I went through, 4 of which had specific descriptions, 3 were off expectations.
How does a company mess up like that? Are you guys actually reading the prompts/guidance you're sending me? Are you coordinating with interviewers? Or are you guys in such a hurry to get things done, you don't even pay attention to what you're sending?
Are you even aware that sometimes, you're sending conflicting instructions for the same interview? Didn't you agree to send me the details of the "homework assignment" by 5pm Wednesday? Oh you forgot?
What the heck is the matter with these people. These guys need to learn how to get simply things done correctly.
If you're interviewing for PM positions, then I'd say hold on for a wild ride where nobody really knows what the procedure is but they want you to hurry!
This was the biggest waste of time ever.
