Got shortlisted in 3 minutes. First interview was a bot round — the best round, as the bot asked real engineering questions about my project, the constraints, and everything in detail. Really impressive.
But then after a day, I got a technical interview that felt unprofessional. The interviewer was late, and I don’t understand why he asked medium-level questions on RAGs and LLMs — they weren’t even on my resume. He showed no interest in asking about my projects. Instead, he asked for the formulas of sigmoid and softmax activation functions and to write pseudocode of linear regression from scratch using mathematics.
This made me question whether the interview was for a junior ML 🤡role or a computer vision role
