Applied for a position bringing over 20+ years of senior and demonstrable PM experience to the table. Phone screener/recruiter seemed to have never read my application nor resume and was somewhat persistent on requiring PM certification (the 20+ years of PM experience apparently wasn’t sufficient to ‘check the box’). Got the usual “thank you but no thank you” automated email the next day despite the fact that their job posting encouraged applications from individuals not checking off all of the boxes. Oh well, live and learn.
