I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Bengaluru) in Sep 2019
Interview
One phone screen, one written exercise, followed by 5 rounds of interviews that were originally meant to be largely held in-person but were held through video conferencing due to scheduling conflicts. All interviews were held within a 24 hour period and the process was completed extremely fast.

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Dublin, Dublin) in Mar 2026
Interview
Very positive experience. The down side was there were 6 rounds of interviews in total but they were scheduled close together. Communication was excellent and a huge amount of helpful resources provided to you to help you prepare.
Phone interview. Asked 4 typical question. The Amazon phone interview was structured and focused on behavioral questions using the STAR method. The interviewer was professional, asking about leadership principles, past challenges, and decision-making. It felt fast-paced yet conversational. I shared clear examples from my experience, highlighted results, and ended confident I demonstrated impact and fit.
