I applied online. I interviewed at AllyO (San Francisco, CA) in Apr 2019
Interview
Very easy. Typical questions...quota attainment, sales process, what motivates you. Spoke with Two Regional Directors and the VP of Sales. The entire team was very excited about the work they were doing to transform the world of talent acquisition. Offer followed within three days of final interview.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at AllyO (Palo Alto, CA) in Mar 2020
Interview
I had scheduled an interview with them for Director of Sales in June 2018, and just before the interview was scheduled, it was cancelled by their bot, and I never received any other feedback.
Yesterday (3/2/20), I was contacted via text by their bot, and I went through an automated series of questions which qualified me for an Enterprise Sales Executive position. In spite of my past with AllyO, I went ahead anyway and scheduled an initial call with them for this evening at 6:00 PM local time. Just a few minutes ago, and 3 hours before the interview was scheduled, I received a text saying their recruiter cancelled the interview, without any other feedback. They initiated the contact, and if I saw a position from them I wouldn't have applied myself.
If you look at some of the other interview feedback, this behavior is not unusual. I read their reviews, and so many of them sound like shill reviews. In a way, I am glad that I didn't have to waste any of my time on these people.
I guess some things never change.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AllyO (Mountain View, CA) in Feb 2020
Interview
Saw the job position on Indeed. I was instructed to text a number and send over my resume through an automated system. Within a day later, I heard back from them to schedule a phone call. I made it to the onsite rounds. Parking can be a bit tricky but the location was easy to find. I was given a quick tour of the office and then put in a conference room where three interviewers spoke to me for half an hour each. There was a writing assignment to test my writing skills and then a short exercise. Two of the three people I spoke to were very warm and nice and the other one seemed blunt and disengaged. Questions weren't difficult. Average interview.
