I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Alaska Airlines (Phoenix, AZ) in Oct 2014
Interview
Had a phone interview the day right after applying online and filling out the questionnaire. The phone interview was very simple and easy. It took less then 10 minutes to finish. After that, they sign you up for another interview which was in a couple of days, which other candidates were present.
We all sat and watched a powerpoint presentation and video about Alaska airlines. Took an hour or two. After we all received interview times, which wasn't group interviews.
The first interview was based on resume and past employers. If passed, there was another interview right after. I made it to the second which asked specific questions about incidents regarding customer service. They let you know very quickly after if you were asked the job or not.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Alaska Airlines (Des Moines, WA) in Nov 2021
Interview
Mass orientation/interview process, approx 50 attendees, 30min orientation then called for individual initial interview & typing test. I passed the typing test, but was not selected, and given zero feedback on my interview, only that I can apply again in 6months fir the same position or apply anytime for any other position. Very disappointed and confused. I met all qualifications and my answers were truthful and appropriate. I left the event very confused.

Interview
It begins as a group orientation where you will meet interviewers and discuss the company, benefits, schedule, and what they are looking for in an employee. You will then be selected to do a one on one interview after the presentation ends, once the interview is done . They will let you know if you are hired or not. If you are hired, you will do a pre-employment drug test (saliva test).
