I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Alarm.com (Bloomington, MN) in Jan 2017
Interview
Basic phone screen with HR, then they brought me in for an in person interview. I had some more basic interview questions with the girl from HR before I was left alone for 45 mins. in a room with an iPad and a sheet with VERY basic instructions. Had to figure out how to solve all the questions on my own. This was immediately followed by a 3-person panel style interview with all Team Leads. They were all super nice and made me feel comfortable the whole time. The panel interview questions were much more in depth and I could tell that they were looking to see if I was qualified for the job as well as a good fit for the team.

The interview process is in 2 parts. A recruiter will interview you first via phone then decide if you will go to the second part which is a video interview with 2 Team Leads.

Phone screen with HR for 30 minutes to go over resume and how the role suits experience. Microsoft Teams virtual interview with 2 Team Leads for over an hour. Very casual, mix of standard interview questions with interesting ones. 1 brain teaser question and was asked to tell a joke at the end. After the interview, there was an activity to assess your comprehension/research skills as well as a personality assessment.

This was a while ago but I submitted a resume, got a call phone interview the. Was asked to come in. You get a tour of the office before doing a panel interview. The recruiter told me to call her the next day and I was offered a position.
