I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Aflac (Miami, FL) in Sep 2019
Interview
Interview was not conducted on an individual basis. While I was called for an interview, it was actually an informational meeting with many other people, more of a group recruiting as you would expect for Amway or similar companies.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
There was actually no question asked, but merely information about licenses required for the sales process, why Florida required them, etc. Nothing of an interview, practically it was a deceiving way to get people to their "seminars". The only question in general, asked to the group of more than 10 people that they had put together, was if they knew what Aflac sold.
1 main interview, very laid back. Met with account manager discussed position and certifications needed for the role. Role is very outbound heavy commuting to different locations such as schools and other main employers to get clients signed up

Question 1
How do you respond to rejection in a sales setting?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Aflac (De Zoom) in Oct 2025
Interview
First round was a group interview by zoom. After a late start, the host stated he'd just 'hung up on a broker' after that call had gone long, then argued that unlike other insurers, Aflac sales reps aren't pressured to sell to family. Many participants dropped, I was one of them. Really disappointing and bears out Aflac's reputation for bad practices and environment in the sales department.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Aflac (Fort Myers, FL) in Aug 2025
Interview
The first interview is a group zoom informational session. Then if interested a one on one 2nd interview. The second interview can be via video or in person. They sell you the job so you can sell for them. They sell you on you to be your own boss. 1099
