Easy going and brief. The interview process was extensive enough for them to know whether or not I was a good fit, but not too extensive to the point that it feels like I'm being interrogated.
Great interview and loved meeting the team. Was a skype interview. They asked some general and some technical questions and seem like a great team. They set the interview up through email and was very professionally organized and ran.

Question 1
Previous job experience? Familiarity with certain programs?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Adaptive Computing (Provo, UT) in Feb 2011
Interview
Initial interview with the hiring manager and a senor HR representative. One or two people in your prospective dept may also sit in and ask technical questions if you are in engineering; in any event you'll at least meet one of them to see how you get along. There might be a second round of interviews if meeting with all of the above persons does not happen all in one meeting or on the same day.

Question 1
Writing code for the problem domain you'll be working in at your job in engineering on the whiteboard. You'll have to explain and defend your design and choice of algorithms. On the other hand you are fairly free to choose what programming language to use and they are not arbitrary brain teaser questions a la google and friends but actual software engineering related problems.
