ABB Software Development Group Leader interview questions

After the short phone screen, I was invited to an interview, which they described as a mini assessment centre. It took less than two hours and consisted of three parts: – a standard interview where I was asked to describe my experience and competences – a presentation ("managerial expose"), where I was supposed to present to the team the strategy, business goals, priorities and a growth vision (I was given a few days to prepare the presentation) – a role-playing scene where I was to act as a manager having a harsh conversation with an underperforming employee I could tell that they were surprised by my salary expectation, it was in the top range of their limits. After the interview, they told me, that I would receive feedback within a few weeks. However, after the time passed, they called me and explained, that they are negotiating with someone else and asked to wait further I as was just a secondary choice. After three months, when I received the final call with information that they don't want to employ me, I already applied and was accepted to another position in another company.
