Does iQmetrix offer health savings accounts?

Pros

Offers descent compensation, good company to work for depending on which team you work for.

Cons

Changes to high deductible insurance with on other plans offered. Extremely click-ish. Flat management structure doesn't work as people choose not to help unless encouraged by someone they deem as authority. You will not get support needed if you enterprise services customer facing employee from many teams.

Advice to Management

Must rethink flat management structure because you can't guarantee everyone will buy into it appropriately. Bullying definitely exists with organization and alienating folks that don't fit into clicks happens all the time. Telling new hires they are not welcome to certain chats within company until they earn the trust of particular individuals but then have everyone around you reference things being said in that chat is actually quite juvenile.

Does iQmetrix offer vacation time?

Pros

- The company culture overall is good. - When in the office, snacks, beer and a cool office atmosphere is nice. - Most of the people are really nice and happy to help with any sort of need. - You can work from home as needed (not 100% of the time). - There is a good work-life balance

Cons

- I can say that there almost no people management. You join a team, and that is it. You don't get any growth plans or even formal feedback about the work you are doing. Management has no idea about the work you are doing. To be frank, even yourself has no idea how the work you are doing helps the company to achieve its goals. - Prepare to not get any salary raise for years. Every year the company promises a new framework to review the employees' pay, but nothing changes and you stay at the same. The pay is also low in comparison to companies of the same size and culture in the city. - A lot of organizational changes in a small period of time. Changes are good, but when you constantly change it is hard to even know if the prior approach was working or not. - The self-management idea is great, however, managers always find a way to push work into the sprints even though the team doesn't agree with it. Some top-down decisions are made and the team has to find a way to implement them even though they make no sense and you know that you're doing the wrong thing. - I remember when I joined the company, the goal was to deliver great products, no matter if takes longer to build them. Now looks like the idea is to deliver fast, no matter if it is not the best we can do.

Advice to Management

The employees are what makes the wheels keep running so pay attention and give value to them. Listen to your employees and take actual action instead of just saying that the complaints are being evaluated. Make sure that the motto "Create Great Experiences" is also applied to your employees.

Does iQmetrix offer massages?

Pros

Free Drinks and you can leave at the end of the day

Cons

Changed their performance structure. It is harder to get raises in the company. Before you would get a yearly review and get a base raise as long as you are doing your job good, now you will only get a raise if you do something ground breaking. No longer can you make a career out of a single position. Tier 2 and Tier 1 are being put together, you are expected to know more but not compensated for it. Iqmetrix seems to have turned into a company that cares less about their employees

Does iQmetrix have a pension plan?

Pros

iQ is a great place to work. Major focus on Culture and getting feedback from employees to make improvements.

Cons

No pension. They do a stock thing, but you can't invest for 1y, and then when you do invest you don't get locked in matching until 2y after the first investment, so 3y from when you start.. kind of silly, and not competitive to industry standards.

Advice to Management

More standardization and efficiency could be achieved with some better top end direction.

No pension.
