How are senior leaders perceived at West Coast Dental?
Pros
Overall, the company is a standard corporate dental business. I would be cautious about all the recent positive reviews since they are running a campaign to boost their Glassdoor review. There hasn't been much change in the company but our rating has increased by an entire star. There are some good things about the company. The new COO is a great leader and has been making positive changes. Also, the middle managers are supportive and great to work with.
Cons
The CEO is a joke. He picks his favorites and ignores the rest of us. The senior partners have their hands in everything, and it can be annoying. They run the company like a small practice. There's only one week of paid vacation.
Advice to Management
You are a growing company, trust your team to do the work. Give better benefits. Upgrade your IT system. Call out bad leaders and reward employees on merits not favorites
The new COO is a great leader and has been making positive changes.

What are some insights into the strategy or vision at West Coast Dental?
Pros
The company has supported me though good and not so good times. Their internal auditors provide the right feedback that we as providers can miss while providing care for our patients. We have common goals in putting our patients first and I feel proud to be associated with a company that balances patient care and business well. I have worked with my regional manager Ms. Lucy Gonzalez for 6-7 years and she has been amazingly supportive while sharing her honest opinion guiding me. She has a talent of hiring some of the best staff that I have ever worked with.
Cons
None that I can think of, I have only grown not only professionally but on a personal level too
