The department provides no reward or incentive to work here, gives endless amounts of empty and false promises, acknowledges poor morale and seems to not care whatsoever by do nothing to correct these actions.
Other departments have activities or even an employee store to earn "credit" from work you have done to spend on products or items usually VSLR related. This department doesn't have any of that. The only activities this department has is when VSLR has a company-wide event or activity.
The department displays poor decision making. Your input does not matter here unless it aligns with what your leadership thinks.
The pay here is a joke. It does not matter if your performance review shows that you have been an excellent worker historically. It is borderline impossible to get a raise. They said you'd get a raise opportunity every 90 days, but they consistently ignore or fight this if you bring it up.
The turnover rate in this department is embarrassingly high. Many VSLR 'vets" are walking away from the company because they are tired of working for a department that doesn't reward or acknowledge their efforts.
Former employees from this department are literally going right down the street to work for other companies that are picking up what VSLR is clearly lacking.
Advice to Management
Follow the company values especially with this week being the 8 year anniversary. Live what you preach! Be good, do good. Recognize that most of the people working here are actually human beings with real lives and issues to deal with.
Someone, please help the RECs and Rebates Department. This department is so toxic and miserable to work for. Changes NEED to happen to improve the quality of life for the employees working here.
