Pros

Well funded: the owners of the company seem to see it as a long-term investment and the company is well funded. The company will do well in the long-term. Very friendly colleagues: no cultural issues really. Everybody seems humble and ready to help. Good culture despite the challenges with Covid. Flexibility to work on different projects: there are many opportunities to get involved in different initiatives. Management is flexible. Good opportunities to grow within the company: as a growing start-up, there are many opportunities to grow. Diversity: people in the Toronto office are from all over the world and the company has offices in India as well. The clients are also spread throughout Europe and the Americas. Work-life balance: people work hard but that's not anything new in the Toronto tech scene. I would say it is pretty fair. Transparency: there’s a business and a tech town hall every week. We get regular updates on how the business is doing (revenue, sales, product, etc). Having been in opaque organizations before I can tell that the company tries to communicate as much as possible which is something I appreciate. Overall my experience has been pretty positive.

Cons

It is challenging to test new product updates during the current pandemic since not many people are flying.

Pros

- Ample opportunities for growth, they have well defined career paths for engineers to pursue aspirations with the right support mechanism, - Leaders and managers truly care about your success and a winning attitude is prevalent across levels, - You will find super passionate and driven individuals all around you - giving you the needed boost to excel, to bring the best in you, - HR across locations is very employee driven, you will find progressive talent management techniques that have been implemented to help employees become the best version of themselves, - There are a lot of social events, fun gatherings and groups on slack that help people follow what they are passionate about beyond work.

Cons

- It can get challenging at times with multiple priorities that needs to be juggled and could induce some levels of stress given the stakes are high with some of these priorities.

I worked here for very less time due to my career reasons but in future if I get chance to work again with Tripstack I will always be happy .The work here is quite interesting and challenging as well so I liked the work there . It's a product based company and they have very innovative product that only smart people can imagine. I got the chance to work directly under Director of Engineering and it was really very great experience he is very good and smart .So u will get opportunities to learn from and work directly under senior team. And senior team here is very talented and good human . Talent is important but in my opinion if you are not good human being so it won't help.So that one thing i liked here. Most important thing about tripstack is they make their employee feel good.Employee centric company. People are supportive and cooperative.Lovely people.Overall Very Good .

Advice to Management

Management is very good here and helpful. My advice to management is keep increasing the work and team as well I see Tripstack as one of top emerging companies. So long way to go Always try to find people who try to create poor atmosphere and lower the standards and throw them out because a rotten fish can spoil whole pond.Dont judge only for talent ,also trust, honesty, good attitude, hardwork is very important for any employee. One more thing Don't change of being good with your employees for any reason.

Pros

1. Pay is fixed and okay as per market standards. 2. Work environment is fun and friendly. 3. There are learning and knowledge transfer sessions arranged for everyone. 4. Everyone is accessible in hierarchy. 5. Lucky one's might have opportunity to try their hands at different tech stack. 6. Few managers are awesome leaders and skilled.

Cons

1. There is no check on politics played by senior management. Only a few of them conduct duties with honesty, dedication and sincerity. 2. Many employees resort to fawning and flattering for survival and unfortunately, the management welcomes it. There is no proper anonymous way to lodge grievances and getting them addressed. 3. The pay is okay but does not match the exploitation being carried out. 4. There is no proper platform to properly access the productivity and recognise the employee. The real gems go unnoticed and unsung in the biased environment. Unnecessary highlights to certain roles and people. 5. No career or personal growth option.

Advice to Management

Please refer to Cons.

5. Lucky one's might have opportunity to try their hands at different tech stack.

Pros

I joined as a fresher and here are some pros - 1) There's a lot to learn and understand. 2) As it a startup, you will have the opportunity to bring new ideas to the table, and if the ideas can help the company grow, you will be able to lead your idea. 3) It's fun to be around a group of geeks / techies 4) Seniors are polite; they will take the time to listen to your concerns and then explain things to you 5) Management / Team Leads are really very understanding; you can plan your leaves whenever you want, and if urgent, you can even inform them at last minute. 6) And also, how silly my question / findings are, they are never ignored

Cons

1) In comparison to other companies, internet incentives are low. 2) I haven't encountered any other cons as of yet

Advice to Management

I'm not sure, but it would be great if Tripstack provides each employee with the same device (some with windows and some with Mac).

2) As it a startup, you will have the opportunity to bring new ideas to the table, and if the ideas can help the company grow, you will be able to lead your idea.
