Does Toronto District School Board offer parental leave?

Pros

For the most part Great students, patents and staff at the local school level.

Cons

Many administrators are burnt or stressed out and as a result medical leave is now at an all time high. Very little support from senior management, instead always downloading more and more, passing all liability & responsibilities unto the school level and making really bad operational decisions ahead of time. Really bad employer who does not understand the concept of Emotional Intelligence. Principals & Vice Principals get the benefits (90%) of all the other staff working within the TDSB (who receive at 100%) Many teachers salaries are now higher than VP's and slightly less than principals - yet the job roles & work hours are substantially different with most administrators having zero work life balance. .

Advice to Management

Stop placing more workload on your school administration. Figure out the job tole of Superintendents they are creating more work than help. They have very little answers so you end up having to figure things out at the local school level begging the question how useful is their job role? Right now not useful at all.
