What is the retirement plan like at SNC-Lavalin?

Pros

Decent pay, ok benefits and work conditions

Cons

Terrible work life balance, dictatorial and bureaucratic much like a bad government operation, horrible communications. Finance, HR and HSS run the operation. You will be mired in senseless and endless duplicate red tape. It's almost impossible to get things done. Cutthroat environment, warning 'watch your back'. Some of the worst disconnected senior managers I have ever experienced and there is no effort to correct this or even recognize it. A complete straight jacket backward company. They will work you to death and you will not get recognized. Pension is simply matching at 7% then you're on your own. No other retirement benefits at all. Frightening lack of ability to execute projects. Lots of finger pointing.

Advice to Management

Get your collective heads out of the sand and have a real look at this incredible mess. The worst culture and work life balance possible. The ethics push is a joke and employees know it.

No other retirement benefits at all.
