Does Rogers Communications offer dental insurance?

Pros

Great benefits when it came to health and dental even a part-time employee. Solid Employee discount on monthly Rogers products.

Cons

The commission was pretty lackluster compared to the products offered. Difficult customers with a negative connotation for company.

Does Rogers Communications have a pension plan?

Pros

Toronto & Brampton campuses are both nice. Both have decent gyms and cafeterias (Brampton is best in both regards). Get to work with some great people as well. Benefits are ok, discount is great (this comes with its own separate set of challenges that tenured employees can tell you about), old pension plan is better than the one that’s offered to new employees, and there’s other perks like group discounts on stuff.

Cons

Easily some of the worst managers & directors you’ll ever meet. Most have little to no idea what they’re doing, no technical background or training nor any desire to understand what or who they’re managing. There’s excessive bureaucracy and the only way to avoid being laid off is to play the game. You’ve been warned. Lastly, you may be overworked or underworked. All depends on your business unit, manager, and role.

Lots of red tape to move a project along, decision making authority was outlined on paper but not followed in reality, not all people in mgmt positions should be people managers As a long term employee, 15+ years, your salary is not competitive over time, new hires were coming in at hire salaries than long standing employees in SAME roles
