Pros

You can get a lot of opportunities to develop yourself if you have good vision or ideas and raise your hand. Age doesn't matter. Your colleagues are very helpful and friendly, too. Here 's not like a typical Japanese company.

Cons

You are not expected to be here until retirement, so you need to have a future vision and plan after leaving the company. The company provides you the chances to learn what you need to know for your future career outside, so it might not be a setback actually.

Advice to Management

For me, a mid-career employee, the company seems to be misunderstood in many ways in the society. It is a good company to be in, so I feel pity that people outside don't understand us correctly. I expect them to speak more about the company to the public.

Pros

Although the company has a 60-year history in Japan, it does not become rigid like most large companies, but is full of venture capitalism. We believe the reason why we are able to continue to change flexibly in line with the times, such as digitalization and globalization, is because we have the flexibility to respond sensitively to the voice of society and our employees and change our strategy boldly as needed. Communication between management and employees is also very active, and depending on their abilities, they are in important positions even at a young age. Personal mission setting and recognition are clear, and career progression is less stressful. Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)

Cons

It's a tough place to work if you can't set your own mission on your own initiative or if you have a weak desire to grow. While there is a high possibility that you will be appointed to important positions at a young age, it is also necessary to have a high level of vision because new missions and speed of change are required.

Personal mission setting and recognition are clear, and career progression is less stressful.
