Pros

- Top-down transparency - Collaborative workforce (regardless of title or dept) - Growth & development are top of mind for leaders - Workforce appreciation through weekly socials, themed events, comprehensive benefits, quarterly awards, etc.

Cons

- NOT REALLY A CON: Growing agile company means there is always something to be done. Must be of the ambitious/go-getter personality who doesn't hesitate to roll up his/her sleeves.

What is the salary like at Q4?

Pros

Smart ppl who are willing to help and develop your skills

Cons

Bad leadership, office politics, below average pay and benefits.

Advice to Management

Maybe start focusing on non referral employees and thief needs instead of making up new job titles for leaders as we go. Leadership is self centred bar the CEO who is amazing. Corporate politics is huge.

Do employees at Q4 receive pay raises?

Pros

- People & Culture team do try really hard to keep employees happy during WFH (lots of company swag, UberEats vouchers, virtual activities) - Unlimited vacation (only matters if you're allowed to use it)

Cons

- Huge turnover rate. - A lot of managers are poorly trained and don't know how to take care of their team properly. - Support team (arguably the backbone of the company) are treated like they don't matter and often dismissed and undervalued by everyone else. Also get paid the least in the entire company. - Everyone is extremely burnt out and overworked - many teams have been expected to work evenings and weekends. Senior management doesn't care. - CTO is known for breathing down people's necks and making everyone's lives miserable. Very demanding, gets angry easily, and he is the reason many have quit. - 5+ people from Product Management have been fired or quit in the last several weeks. The only ones left haven't been at the company for more than 2 months. - Very hard to get promoted unless you overwork yourself for years and years, or suck up to leadership who like to play favourites. - Unless you're a manager, base pay is very low compared to market value.

Advice to Management

Train managers (including C-suite leadership) properly and let people have a proper work/life balance. CTO definitely needs anger management classes. Don't just send gift baskets to try and make the problems go away - show that you actually care about our wellbeing!

Unless you're a manager, base pay is very low compared to market value.
