How are the career development opportunities at Nudge?

Pros

Massive opportunity to disrupt how the world's largest workforce operates - feels like slack revolutionized how work gets done for the desk worker, but Nudge could be that for the non-desk/non-computer workforce. I think the team is very talented, well intentioned, smart, and even though many of us are on this high growth ride there is a lot of willingness to figure out the hard things along the way. Everyone has a voice. I love that the company focuses on communication, culture, and ensuring that we can all be our best selves at work.

Cons

With fast growth, there is a lot of unknowns, and tricky things to figure out - sometimes that creates stress as we all navigate it.

Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing.

How are senior leaders perceived at Nudge?

Pros

The culture at Nudge Rewards is by far the best I've experienced over my 15 years of professional work experience. It all starts with the passionate senior leadership team that has clearly articulated and achieved company wide buy-in of our mission, vision, and values. The whole team truly believes we are fundamentally changing the way brands engage front-line workers. Highlights: - Transparency into all operating aspects of the company - Collaborative work environment - Priority on professional growth and development - Open environment for pitching new ideas and processes in place to activate - Significant growth opportunities as the company continues to expand - Flexible working options - Office and/or Remote - Great office perks: Pet friendly, free beverages, ping-pong, open environment, and weekly lunches

Cons

As with all start-ups that are entering a stage of hyper growth, some roles will be asked to take on additional responsibilities that may be outside their comfort zones. I personally view this as a pro as it forces you to understand and develop working knowledge of other areas, which can only help to accelerate your own personal professional development.

What are some insights into the strategy or vision at Nudge?

Pros

Overall, a very collaborative and friendly team, both within tech and across the company. The culture here is by far the most welcoming and supportive of all the organizations I've worked for in the past 10+ years. Specific points: - Great people-focused management team where leaders invest heavily (and care about) their employees' professional development - Lots of internal recognition, employee appreciation, and open dialogue and disclosure through weekly stand-ups - Super high growth and super stable for a start-up - Most of the company love to Karaoke

Cons

- Since it's a start-up, processes are still relatively informal / experimental and still being developed (e.g. Product decisions and feature design recently became more silo'd) - Free food (bi-weekly lunches and mostly unlimited snacks) is a little less than at other start-ups

Advice to Management

Take advantage of everyone's willingness to offer their advice and experience while people are still willing
