I've been at MYOB for a while now and it's been a fantastic experience. The culture here is super supportive and I've made a lot of great friends. There are lots of career opportunities and I've been fortunate enough to move to more senior roles in the business. The team is awesome and there's always fun stuff happening in the office - definitely recommend!

Overall the benefits are good. The engineering culture is widely promoted.

No growth opportunities and longer hours of work.

Flexibility is great, can work when you need to

Extremely bad management who only care about their own back pockets. Management have no clue what they are doing , and are dragging everyone down with them . Also there is no career progression at all, only the chosen ones are promoted and MYOB does not recognize good performance. MYOB also treats customers badly

* Restructures happen almost quarterly at this rate and it's unclear what the goals really are * Remuneration could be a whole lot better for front-line support agents

It's a big company, so you get to work with lots of different people. There's a wide range of tech which I find a pro, but some might consider it a con. They are open about growth opportunities and support you to reach your own personal goals.

New hires are paid significantly more than existing engineers, and raises are capped. This meant that leaving and reapplying was a better way of getting the salary you deserved and often built animosity between existing team and new members. Also there is significant amount of tech debt, as there is with any large company that's been around for 20+ years, but the money and time is all being spent on who knows what rather than addressing it.
