Does MNP LLP offer dental insurance?

Pros

Great working environment, everyone is very friendly and works hard. There is a lot of support and training for staff. You can also move up quickly in roles if you're competent. The benefits are awesome and the extra day you get as a floating day every quarter is useful for medical and dental appointments. Partners are approachable and socialize with staff, really great people are in charge over there. All the Regional Managing Partners at my office were great.

Cons

Blackout vacation dates, had to complain multiple times that I was sensitive to scents because the temp who sat with me bathed in perfume. Only after the 5th complaint was something done, hopefully they now have a policy for people who have severe allergy issues around scented products. I ended up leaving the company due to how this was handled, my supervisor made me feel like I was faking my issues when it's quite a common thing to have scent sensitivity.

The benefits are awesome and the extra day you get as a floating day every quarter is useful for medical and dental appointments.

Pros

Work-life balance, flexible work schedules, office culture, good career advancement, a lot of learning opportunities.

A lot of growth in recent years so hard to keep up with recruitment needs at times.

Does MNP LLP have any mentoring programs?

Pros

MNP really values learning and development. They do all they can to support you through the CPA process by providing you with a CPA mentor and paid study days. There is a very supportive working environment and everyone is more than willing to help out when needed. While it may be very busy and stressful at times due to the nature of the job, we have fun as well. There are lots of social events including monthly birthday celebrations, mental breaks every Friday afternoon during busy season, and fun activities like laser tag or archery tag!

Cons

Sometimes there is a lack of consistency in the information communicated to staff, but the office is actively working on improving that. With the high growth it can be hard to appropriately staff engagements and sometimes Managers/Partners have too big of a workload to give the appropriate attention to all of their files.

How are promotions handled at MNP LLP?

Pros

Work life balance and paid time off over 40 hours a week Partners and leaders work very closely with you Quicker promotions and performance based environment Work life flexibility Amazing culture (young professionals) Diversity with clientele Located in the heart of the financial district

Cons

Not much. Busy season is a bit hectic, but you get paid time off.
