Pros
I have just joined King Animal Hospital and have been an employee for about a month now. King City Animal Hospital is a newly created Animal Referral Hospital on 50 acres of land in King City and connected to parent company Dog Tales Rescue and Sanctuary. Being a start up I am excited about the contribution I can make to helping them design something great - including a positive collaborative culture. They truly care for animal wellbeing and a large part of their business will focus on rescue animals. They have heavily invested in the very best diagnostic equipment for small, large and exotic animals. The very best MRI, Cat Scan, Robotic Arm Diagnostics to be used in surgery, stand up diagnostics for horses so they do not have to be put under. An equine indoor ring to test gate, rehabilitation including hydrotherapy, million dollar theatre for knowledge sharing. All specialty areas will be housed under one roof which is wonderful for pet parents but also great for staff career growth opportunities and learning. The CEO, owners and staff are amazing to work with. Everyone is bright, passionate about the mission and building something very special. Ideas are shared openly. Very supportive environment. Wellness is at the forefront for employees as well as animals. Paid time off for volunteering with animals, continuing education, growth opportunities. Very competitive pay - best in the market. Excellent benefits. Chance to shape and contribute to culture and the way work is done. Dream job. Walking trails, gym, vertical staff garden, working with rescue animals. Beautifully crafted building. Peaceful. Love it. Perfect fit for me.
Cons
I have absolutely nothing to say that is negative about King Animal Hospital. It is in beginning stages so looking forward to meeting more team mates as we grow to 120 people by Spring of 2023 and see how the organization evolves. Very excited about how the company will share information with the community and with referral sites.
