Does Kellogg Company offer relocation assistance?

Pros

Full time hours, plus more than you want Ok benefits package 401k is matched to 3% Sunday is premium pay

Cons

Unpredictable schedule, you never know when you are leaving. Pay is very low for the responsibility that you have. You are “just a number”. Your “bid” job is not your job everyday. Very low morale between fellow employees. Not a good outlook on becoming a regular status employee. No pension, even though it is a Union.

Advice to Management

Pay your employees fairly. Cut off forced overtime at 12 hours maximum. No forced 16 hour shifts. Share the wealth!!

Does Kellogg Company have a pension plan?

Pros

Amazing place to work if you want to work with passionate, kind people. Everyone at Kelloggs loves the business and genuinely feels they are making the world a better place one bowl of cereal or salty potato snack at a time. The work benefits are amazing, half days every Friday in the summer, large pension, company share scheme, product discounts and health care. If you want to work for a single company for 25 years, retire early and have a great work life balance choose Kelloggs.

Cons

You will spend that 25 years bored at how slow they work. Kelloggs kids itself that its small enough to stay dynamic, this isn't true. Its a huge lumbering behemoth and all change is glacial with all decisions being made by the senior leadership and all work being done by junior staff. Levels and levels of middle management then sit in between with the sole intent of slowing everything down. Career progression will be slow and be prepared to toe the happy clappy “We love Kelloggs” company line. Kelloggs preaches that it wants to lead on diversity, and they do, however they lack diversity of though and want everyone to think the same way, is obviously results in a lot of self-congratulation and a ‘yes men’ culture. If you oppose a way of thinking or suggest alternative ideas to the business norm you will be considered a “negative thinker”. A lot of the business is about being seen to be contributing rather than actually doing anything.

Advice to Management

Employ some people who have different ideas to your own, reduce your middle management and actually progress you incubation programs for new products.
