Does Clean Harbors offer relocation assistance?
Pros
They have a great benefits package. Very comprehensive training program which includes self-paced online learning and group web seminars. There are great incentives and I really like the Virgin Pulse fringe benefit package as well. I had no idea how big the company was until I started the training modules. It gives me comfort to know this is a company I could potentially retire from - knowing they aren't going anywhere. They have such a large market share and continue to acquire new businesses means they are too big to fail and that makes me feel very secure in my position here.
Cons
I honestly cannot think of any (so far so good)
Advice to Management
I would not presume to tell anyone above me how to do their jobs but if I could make any one single request, it would be to update the computers in the office. They are outdated and struggle to keep up with the various tasks we perform at the work stations. Yes everything does get through eventually but not having to wait for the computer would increase efficiency big time. I recently purchased a new computer and even for the cheapest laptop or desk top available it would be an improvement in speed and computing power.
They have a great benefits package.

Cons
Low pay, benefits are lower than other companies around. 401 k is bad. No pension. No bonuses. Health insurance is very expensive. Safety isn't a priority like the company stand up for it. Managers are poorly trained. Workers are poorly trained. No apprenticeship programs available. No pay tuition for any training or schooling. Facility poorly maintained and dirty, equipment poorly maintained. Facility bathrooms and lunch rooms dirty. Vehicles falling apart. You name it.
Advice to Management
Management Training and operations training. Invest in making a safe work environment and a more productive facility. Hire qualified professionals to do the work and not just friends and family related. Create a incentive & rewards programs for safety and production.

Does Clean Harbors offer life insurance?
Pros
Yearly income is over $100,000 Leaves you alone to do job. Believes in Safety first Pays us 8 hrs for taking 34 hr break on road.
Cons
Base pay is set below half of what we make. Our vacation pay is off of $52,000 a year making it not worth to take time off work. Life insurance and workman’s comp is set at a false rate. The GM/DM are so overloaded with work the never preplan and don’t have time to answer calls. They are paying us $.25 lower than the going rate for miles. They don’t have enough equipment for drivers therefore forcing people to drive rentals. Management has no respect for drivers.
Advice to Management
Cut some management positions and invest in hands on workers. Stop disrespecting
Life insurance and workman’s comp is set at a false rate.
